Serrapeptase, technically known as Serrato Peptidase, is a unique and very powerful proteolytic (protein digesting) enzyme. Serrapeptase has wide clinical use, spanning over twenty-five years throughout Europe and Asia as a viable alternative to salicylates, ibuprofen and the more potent NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). Unlike these drugs, Serrapeptase, is a naturally occurring, physiologic agent with no inhibitory effects on prostaglandins and is devoid of gastrointestinal side effects.

Apart from a natural alternative to NSAID's (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), for both rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, Serrapeptase also helps relieve pain and reduce swelling, helps reduce recovery times of sports injuries, trauma and after surgical procedures and has been very successful in the treatment of fibrocystic breast problems and chronic sinusitis to improve the elimination of bronchopulmonary secretions, and has been used successfully for cystitis and epididymitis.

The most exciting benefit comes from the clinical application of Serrapeptase for cardiovascular problems to reduce levels of arterial plaque and improve blood flow and cardiac function and also dissolve blood clots and help reduce varicose veins without harming the healthy cells lining the arterial wall.

When consumed in unprotected tablets or capsules, SERRAPEPTASE is destroyed by acid in the stomach. However, enterically coated SERRAZYME PLUS SERRAPEPTASE Capsules means the enzyme passes through the stomach unchanged and can be absorbed by the intestine. Each 400mg tablet delivers 40,000IU of Serrapeptase Activity and with added trace minerals and MSM for enhanced bioavailability.

Dosage:

Treatment for Inflammation/Pain: 1-2 capsules three times per day on an empty stomach.

Treatment for arterial blockage: 1-2 capsules twice daily for 1st month and then reduce to 3 per day.

Duration:

Although most symptoms will tend to diminish within 1-2 weeks, it is recommended that you take SERRAZYME PLUS SERRAPEPTASE for 3-4 months and then stop to evaluate further need. Many people take SERRYAZYME PLUS SERRAPEPTASE at a low dose, 1-2 per day, for health maintenance.

For acute conditions, Take the highest dose for 7 days or until the symptoms decrease substantially and then drop down to 2-3 per day (or less if possible).

Children: It can be safely used with Children. A recommended dosage of 1-2 capsules per day for children. If they cannot swallow the capsules, they may chew as it does not have any taste.
